Happy birthday Ruth

 Ruth had a fun birthday.  I went and got her a breakfast burrito from Chick fil a for breakfast.  Mandy checked her out of school early and took her to shivers and Costco.  They bought a giant pillow bed.  After school went went to zuchers and got dog decorations.  Mandy helped us hang everything up.  Poor Oliver was jealous and was having a rough time so I took him with me to get Jimmy John sandwiches.  It was nice and he calmed down.  The party was really fun and the kids all played really well together.  We watched Wicked,it is so good.  Thanks for meeting up tomorrow, it will be fun

 Happy birthday ruth. I hope it was fun. I drove dad to work and got ready for the weekend. Robin that is one hard.puzzle. I thought we were working on a tough one. Everyone drive safe. I am excited to go swimming. Love mom

Friday

Happy Friday. It was slow at work today so it was nice. Tomorrow we will wake up and make our way to SLC. I'm going to pack a bag so Luna can stay the night. We are hoping on Sunday to put up insulation. Our dishwasher didn't drain last time. So we have been trying to figure out what was wrong. We checked our food dispenser hose and that was the problem. It's nice to have the dishes done.

 We will probably stick with Saturday.  Casey is going to work for Dad on Sunday so he is going to spend the night.  The kids can stay if they want but I will go home so I can play the piano.  We made it back to school today.  I thought it was nice to be back.  The classes all went pretty well and it was a nice day.  We went skiing this evening. Mandi and her friend Arika came with us.  The just wanted to stay in the Lodge and talk.  We had a blast skiing.  The kids did great and I think we all could go every day and be happy.  I am so grateful we got to go.

Thursday

 I had a nice day. Karen had the day off and was nice to run errands with me. We also went to Costco. The company she had an interview with called said an emergency came up and needed to change her interview to next Friday so we made a dinosaur wobble. I did al lot better crocheting. It is coming back. I made sloppy Joe's for dinner and they tasted really good. I am with Robin. If weather is bad we can do Sunday. I am not sure what new time your church is Rachel. Rachel I hope your skiing was fun. Robin just think only a few more classes. Tell Ruth happy birthday. Have a happy first Friday of the new year. Love mom

Thursday

Today was a long day. It was my first day back after a long break and I had class tonight too. So it was a double long day. I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday.  The weather said it was going to be bad Saturday. So if we want Sunday for the party I'm free that day if it keeps everyone safe

New Year's

 We did make it to midnight and we had a fun time.  Ruth stayed their to sleep but the. Ous came home.  They all slept in.  I got up and fed the cat and fell asleep on the couch.  I cut out a new quilt and watched wicked.  We went and picked up Ruth and went grocery shopping to get stuff to make a cake for her birthday.  Oliver went to his friend's house to play and Casey made a cake.  Isaac took Tony for a walk.  We had dinner at home and it was just a normal evening.  We start back to school tomorrow and then we are going night skiing at Beaver.  It should be fun.

New year

 We took it slow this morning also. We went for Indian food at Himalayan palace. I think it is my favorite. It is next to sprouts so we walked that. We decided to go to the mall. Karen wanted to get a new jacket for her interview tomorrow. We found a really cute outfit for her. We came home and just vegged the rest of the night. Robin I think that will be Lunas favorite place. I think she will love the gardens also. Rachel I hope you made it to midnight. It looked like you were having a huge party. I am so looking forward to a good year. Love mom

The fireworks were crazy by our house at 12. It kept me up for about an hour. Luna luckily slept in a bit. We took it slow in the morning then she started to get antsy. I wanted to check out the curiosity farms at Thanksgiving point. It was really fun but cold. It's mostly outside. But Luna with her pass and ride unlimited horses and train ride. So we did that and everything indoors to keep warm. Then we came home and vacuumed the upstairs of the shed. I think we are now ready to add the insulation now. Then we went to cold stone.

 I had to work today. It was busy because it was the last shipping day of the year. After work we just hung out. We are working on a puzzle and we watched Wednesday. I hope everyone has a great New Years Eve.

New Year's Eve

 I love the fish Robin.  I finished my Phoenix quilt and it was really fun to do.  I had a hard time sleeping last night.  I sewed this morning.  When the kids woke up we went with Mandi and Randy to Costco to get party stuff for tonight.  We got poppers and ton of food.  We just hung out at Randy's after that.  I went home to feed the cat and move laundry around.  Me Ruth and Mandi got matching track suits and they are fun.  We got a billion glows sticks and have done a couple poppers but are going to save them for midnight.  I hope we make it.  Love you guys.

Tuesday

 I moved slow all day. Weird. I did wash clean sheets for my bed. Robin I love that fish. We need to shop for paint. It will be beautiful. Everyone have a happy new years eve. Love mom

Tuesday

We all had the day off today as well. We took it slow this morning. Then Jeramy had an eye appointment. We also picked up a new shop vac. We started vacuuming the shed. Everything with Luna takes 5x as long. She got tired so she laid down. I started Cutting my koi fish I want in my bathroom. It had the fire alarm go off and woke everyone up. I finished making it though since I was almost done. I just need to paint it now. I ordered some colors I wanted so it won't be done till next week. I am excited. I also didn't watch alot of wicked since the fire alarm went off. But I got a few songs in

Monday

 We could come down on Saturday and celebrate Ruth's birthday.  I will talk to her and see what she wants to do.  Does Saturday work for everyone?  Today was good.  I got up and fed the cat.  Kleis came over and gave me new sheet music for primary.  The kids slept in and when they got up we went to a second hand store for Legos to find a Lego Isaac was missing.  We didn't find it but we found something close.  We went and got a cord for Isaac guitar and headphones.  We cut Oliver's hair.  It was long and he never combs it.  I am really close to finishing my Phoenix quilt.  I am not sure it looks good but it has been fun.  Isaac had a late Christmas party with his friends.  He had a fun time and I really liked him having a phone so he could let me know what was going on.  We went up to Randy's and hung out this evening.  Casey went climbing this evening.

Monday

 It was laundry day and I worked on that. The doctor called and asked us if we could come at noon so dad came home from work and we headed to the doctor. It went well. No miracle cure but I knew there wouldn't be. Robin I love that picture of you and jeramy. Luna didn't like the butterflies last time either. She wanted Karen to squish them. Rachel I hope you are having fun with mandy. Does Ruth know what she wants to do for her birthday. She gets to pick. Have a great last day of 2024. Love mom

Monday

We have been trying to get Jeramys car to the dump but we couldn't find the title. We reauta duplicate one but the government sent it to the bank. They thought they still had a lien out on the car. So the bank signed a paper saying it was paid off years ago. So this morning we went to the DMV to get it all sorted and the title will hopefully be here in 10 days. It's been an ordeal. The. I finished hanging up the door on the shed. It still needs a stop trim on the outside to make sure the small cracks are covered. Then Luna would not go down for a nap. So I thought it would be fun to go to Thanksgiving point. We went to the curiosity museum and it was slammed packed. There were people everywhere. So we thought we would try the butterfly museum instead. Luna was afraid of the butterflies. Mostly she was tired. So we left and had dinner and took it easy. We will try again later.

 Me and dad slept in again today. We all went grocery shopping. I was running low of stuff. Karen took us to Joe's crab shack for lunch and it was yummy. We came home and just hung out. I took a nap. I might not sleep tonight. We did play Catan and Karen won. It will be weird to have everyone go back to work tomorrow. I did make dad a doctors appt for 3 with the stomach doctor. That is so weird you just got rain. Weird weather for sure. Robin I love your shed. You are making progress. Love you all mom

 It rained a ton today which is so weird it didn't snow.  We got up and went to church.  The kids were super tired and grumpy.  We played easy songs so primary went well.  Mandy came over and we played nerts and that was fun.  I love that game.  Casey made lasagna for dinner and we took it up to Randy's for everyone.  We mostly just watched movies and played video games.

Sunday

We took it slow this morning. Then we worked on the shed door upstairs. I got it mostly done. I just need hinges to put it up and a few fixer upper spots. It's not perfect but it will do. We also went to Lowe's and got insulation for the shed as well. we were able to stuff it all in our car. Once the upstairs door is secured in we can start putting up the insulation.
