Cute

Robin that jar turned out so cute.  That is amazing.  One simple jar into a piece of artwork.  I love it.  We slept in today and then Karen came down and we went to IKEA.  Man that store is huge.  Robin found the perfect sewing table and we got it.  She will have to store it for a month but it is so worth it.  It was fun to look around.  WE came home and just vegged the rest of the day.  Karen, I hope you are feeling better.  Rachel you are down to double digits.  I thought that was neat.  I love the count down calendar.  I was kind of disappointment that none of the new apostles were from other countries.  Everyone have a nice Sunday.  WE are taking grandma out to lunch.  LOVE MOM

Spoiled

Thank you for helping me at ikea. I am so excited for my sewing room. I love the new table. I was so tired this after noon so I just relaxed a bit. For my bosses birthday I am making a hot tamale elmo jar. I put the vinyl lettering I worked on tonight. Thanks again everyone for all you help.

Thanks for reminding me it was conference.  I was thinking about my lesson but I don't have too, thanks.  I am interested to see about the new apostles also.  I finished my snow flakes for the Christmas block exchange.  They aren't great.  I keep thinking I should be getting better but I think that they will be fine for the exchange and they were a lot of work so I am going with it.  Today was good.  It was kind of rainy this morning but it was a nice day.  It is nice to have it cooler.  Have fun tomorrow.  I think that we will just stay up here tomorrow.  Have fun at Ikea, I hope that they have awesome things for sewing.  One lady I read her blog got one their and it shoot when she sewed so make sure it is sturdy.  Good luck and have fun.

I did it

I made it to Friday and that was good.  I am so glad for the weekend.  I think we should hook up around lunch time also.  I think Karen is coming around 11:00.  Rachel if you are up to it you are move than welcome to come.  You can spend the night if you would like to.  I am not sure how you are feeling.  Work was work and then we came home and I finished my Halloween basket finally.  I think I am going to Quilt Etc to get that other rope.  It works better. I'm so glad today was friday. I feel so tired. Do you guys want to meet up around lunch time for the shopping time? I worked scheels tonight. I had a review a few days ago and said I wanted to do more since I was bored every night. So they had a filing project for me which helped pass the time.

Ups sent is some raffle items. They are sending us katness training package and paid for a day at the archery range. I thought I would put a ticket in for dad :) anyway no much else have a good night

I hate allergies

I am glad you went and got your eyes checked.  I have been really worried about them.  It will be interesting to see how the new contacts work.  I hope you can wear them.  I am glad everyone had a good day.  It is suppose to get cold and rainy tomorrow.  I couldn't wake up this morning so I was a little late for work.  I worked late and made up most of the time.  I took trax home and dad beat me home so he picked me up and we went grocery shopping.  I can't believe it is October already.  It was nice to go shopping.  I was out of a lot of stuff.  It just goes bad so fast.  Everyone have a great Friday.  LOVE MOM

Super Star

I am sorry about your eye's Robin.  I am glad that they could figure out what is wrong.  Good job for going in.  Today Isaac was super star at school and he was excited.  The teacher in the afternoon that he loves was substituting as well so that was fun.  Today was Jenn's birthday so I took her out for lunch to noodles and company.  It was fun and nice to get out.  Casey worked on his engine again and put it on ebay to sell.  He also made cookies, he is on fire.  It was a pretty day so we mostly played outside, it was nice.  The carrots are ready in the garden so Casey cut up a few and cooked them for dinner, they tasted really good.  Well everyone have a good Friday and don't work too hard.

Allergic

Today I went to the eye doctor. I guess I was allergic to the contact brand. I have astigmatism in both eyes. But he changed the brand of contacts. Every night I have to give my contacts a peroxide wash. It takes 6 hours to nuetrilize in its container. So it's quite the deal. Luckly they had an equate brand and it was only 10 dollars and it will last the month. So not to bad. Then I went and paid my deposit on my apartment. They didn't have a 3rd floor open so I'm on the second floor :/. But they let me look at it before I said yes. So that was nice. So I just need to set up my power and cable. I started watching damaged on netflix I'm addicted but I'm only on the 3rd episode so hopefully it stays good. Me and Walter had subway today so that was fun. Oh and a factory of ours is sending a puppet for the raffle. I put a picture below of the doll. It's like a chinese ninja. :) have a good night

I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday. Things are going good here. Work is still moving along. It is suppose to get chilly tomorrow. I might have to pull out a sweater. I hope everyone has a great Friday tomorrow.

Good bye Blue Car

Today was good.  Isaac had school and me and Oliver had to run to Sam's.  Casey was busy today with the blue car.  He decided to take it to the scrap yard and try to get the engine running to sell.  They came and picked up the car around 4 and that was fun to watch.  Randy came over to help him with the engine but they haven't gotten it working yet.  Me and the boys played outside a lot and did crafts and puzzles.  Oliver was kind of grouchy today I am not sure why.  With the money from the car we got Oliver garden for dinner as take out.  It tasted really good.  They carved pumpkins while I was gone at my class and I think they had fun.  I took a picture before I left.  My class was good.  She talked about more controversial things like what procedures to do on the baby after it is born and vaccinations, and nursing.  It was interesting and I am glad that I was able to go.  Everyone have a good day tomorrow.

Hump day

I have survived more than 5 of end of the worlds.  I think that is good.  Work was busy but nothing horrible.  I was tired all day.  Our PlayStation 3 died last night so we went to get a new one and instead we got a new DVD player that is like a playstation only it was $85 dollars.  WE were very tempted to get a TV with the money we didn't spend but we decided to see if we would like the new player.  It is really nice and you can go directly to netflixs.  That was my exciting day.  I think we are on for tent purchasing on next Wednesday.  That will be fun.  Rachel I hope your last class was good.  LOVE MOM

Well nothing to crazy on my end. Just a normal 2 job day. Scheels is slow. I can't believe it's October tomorrow the rest of the year is going to be crazy. I am putting my deposit down tomorrow on my apartment I hope all goes well. Have a good night

Hoodoo

It did turn out to be a hoodoo at Gardner Village.  It was fun.  Robin you were quick with Walter's dinner.  They had an administration activity this afternoon and I went hiking.  It turned out to be a lot of fun.  I even kept up with everyone.  It was nice to be outside.  That is weird about the bees Rachel.  The hive must be moving somewhere new.  I have heard where they do that.  Karen, I am glad you had a good day.  I think I am going to sleep good tonight.  I had over 10000 steps today.  Our playstation broke.  I think we are going to go get a new one tomorrow.  Rachel, Robin doesn't work next Wednesday so that day will work for tent shopping.  LOVE MOM

Well it was pretty much the usual here in Kamas. Work was good. I had engineering meeting today so that made the morning go by fast at least. I made eggs in a frame tonight for dinner. It tasted really good. I hope everyone had a great day. Bye

Today was good work was slow but it was nice to not be so crazy. Then I met the gang at Gardner village  it turned into a hoodoo. Walter has pink eye so I went up and gave him wendy's after. Have a good one

That is fun that you guys went to Gardner village with everyone, that sounds like a fun night.  Mom that is lame about the RA doctor.  I hate insurances and finding good doctors.  Today was good.  I was tired and my legs and feet have been achy.  Me and Oliver spent the morning just playing, he was in a good mood and enjoyed not sharing.  I sewed with Jenn this afternoon and that was fun.  Isaac and Casey got home before she left and we looked outside and their was a swam of bees on the deck.  It was so weird.  I yelled for Casey to come in and we just watched them.  They moved on in a little while and I didn't see them again all day.  Isaac wants to carve pumpkins tomorrow so we went to shopko after dinner and a kit to do that.  Casey had scouts tonight and he made a really good Salmon casserole for dinner which was really good and sweet of him.  The pictures I took today weren't very good but I am attaching them anyway.  I hope that everyone has a good day tomorrow.

Monday

I had a nice day.  Dad had a doctor's appointment at 3:30 so I left work at 3:00 and went with him.  The RA doctor is joining the U of U group.  Our insurance doesn't cover that so I am not sure what we are going to do.  I would rather have a Intermountain doctor.  I will see what I can find.  WE went to Sam's afterwards and Robin we tried one of those cooked chickens and they were really good.  Thanks for letting us know they were good.  I just made some broth and made it into gravy and made toast and had chicken and gravy on toast.   It was good.  I told Kay were weren't going to Wendover today.  I think she was Ok with that.  SO you are free and clear for Saturday.  If you need help taking things to the DI let me know.  I can help.  Karen thanks for the ticket to the Christmas Carol.  I am way excited to go see that again.  Rachel I am glad the craft area is working out.  I really like it.  I think that would be fun to get a tent for Casey next week.  Robin that is great if you want to go in on it.  I can take the day off so we can play if you would like to.  Just decide which day you want to come down.  It was so weird going to work today.  It was pouring rain and the sun was blinding us.  I hope the boys have fun camping.  I do love the way your house is decorated.  LOVE MOM

Camping

Maybe if we picked a day next week when everyone has the evening free we could come down and go shopping for a tent.  Does that sound fun?  Casey has scouts on Tuesday and Thursday he goes to bed early but we are free Monday and Wednesday.  That sounds fun.  Today was good.  Isaac has good.  Casey wanted to test his car so he took Oliver on a ride.  The car is doing a lot better and didn't over heat.  I had to go visiting teaching in the afternoon and when I got back we drove up to go camping.  Me and Oliver only stayed for the evening and Casey and Isaac and sleeping there.  It was really pretty up the canyon.  Thanks everyone for coming up this weekend.  It was a lot of fun.  Isaac loves the spooky house and Oliver even says spooky now, it is cute.  Mom and Dad helped us set up a better craft corner and we love it.  We spent all the free time we had today at the table doing crafts or puzzles.  It is so nice.  Thank you.

I put the recipe below. I use mountain dew instead of 7up since that's how I was told to make them and it makes the cool name a dew-bie.  :) hope they love them. Today was good just same ole. Everyone loved your candy at work mom. Thanks again. Mom I dont work Saturday but I'm think I'm going to stay in slc if that is ok. I'm hoping to make some di runs and start cleaning my place. I felt so tired today. I need to hibernate a bit. Well have a good one

Quick and easy recipe with just a few simple ingredients, that everyone will love.
Ingredients
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1½ cups brown sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ cup 7 Up (or other lemon soda)
2 apples (Golden Delicious or Granny Smith)

Instructions
Butter a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Preheat the oven at 350 F.
Peel and core apples, than cut each apple into 8 slices
Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered dish.
Melt butter, stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon, and when it’s thickened, remove from heat and pour over the dumplings.
Pour the soda in the middle and along the edges of a pan(not over the rolls)
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until they become golden brown.
Serve warm.

Well I made it thru Monday. It did rain for like two seconds this afternoon. Work was good. It actually moved pretty fast for a Monday. Hey Robin, the next luncheon at work theme is comfort foods. Blood Moon

We watched the eclipse as we drove home and then had the perfect view from our patio.  It was fun.  It is still going on also.  We finished up the 3rd season of Once so we are starting the new season.  Thanks everyone for the fun weekend.  I sure had a fun time and I love all the decorations.  Isaac loves them.  Casey put the lights up for Isaac before bed last night.  I am glad everyone made it back safe and sound.  Have a great end of September.  LOVE MOM

Quiet

Well my day has been pretty good. I made beef stew with Rhodes rolls. It tasted really good. I also got my dishes done so that is nice. I also got a nap which pretty awesome also. I hope everyone had a great day and thanks for the fun time on Saturday. Have a great week everyone
