I think you should go to china mom if they will let you. you only live once and might as well go see some things. I love traveling. today was good. I slept for most of it. I did go get some soup at cafe rio it was delicious and then I drove out to ogden to go see my friends hyptnotis show. It was fun but sold out I barely got in. Luckly I have connections ;). Also one of my steri strips that were on my incions came off today. It was starting to peel and they said to cut them down so they don't get caught on clothing, and one just came off. I had to sit down and cut them though. I got a little light headed, i'm a baby. but I only have 3 more to go. yeah. well have a great night robin

stuck

I may be ahead but I am pretty stuck on the level I am currently on. So that will give you guys a chance to catch up. My day was good. I went to craft thing in the morning. We made a cute Easter picture. It was fun. Then after lunch I took a short nap. Then I went to Heber to get some bread cause mine had started to turn green. It was nice here today also. The snow is almost gone. I am so excited for it to be spring. Well have a good one. BYE

Major decision

I woke up this morning and thought why can't I go to China with dad. So I am going.  We went and got my passport and not sure I might go and I am not sure when or when I come home but I made a step in the direction of going.  We will see how the week goes.  We still don't have plane reservations for dad for Tuesday so I am not sure when or if.  It was a scary decision but I think I can do it.  I love the baby blankets Rachel.  Thanks for doing that.  They are perfect.  I can't believe how far ahead Karen is on the game.  I am struggling on some levels.  Have a nice Sunday.  It was cooler this afternoon but the sun did shine.  I am glad that Casey made it safe.  I made him a bed for this evening.  LOVE YOU GUYS wish me luck.

Finished

I finished the two baby blankets for you today Mom, I think that they turned out really good.  I like them.  The weather was so nice today.  We spent some time outside this morning and it felt really nice.  It got windy in the afternoon and it was colder.  Casey made it to SLC and is doing good.  I had a turkey sandwich for dinner and it tasted really good.  I also had warm up roast beef for dinner and that also tasted really good.  I hope that everyone had a good day and got some rest.

I think that its rude that everyone is like 20 levels ahead of me when I have been playing for a solid week before all of you. its not fair. I think its my gallbadder that is distracting me. I should be the best in like a week. so hold on to your jelly beans :) well today was good. I just worked and then relaxed all night. nothing to crazy. Well I have to go back and play my game so I don't get to far behind robin

Nice evening

We had a nice evening, I worked a little late and dad came and got me and we went to the Bombay house for dinner and then we walked the new Walmart.  It was fun.  Right now the plan for China is dad is leaving on Tuesday, I think and I may or may not be going.  I think it will be may not but at this point in time you never know.  I am glad it is Friday.  It is just raining here.  Well everyone have a nice weekend.  Don't work too hard.  LOVE MOM

Karen that is crazy.  You are the master.  I am very impressed, WOW.  Well I haven't done that well, I am one 46.  It is fun that we are all playing.  We had a good day.  The weather was nice in the afternoon so we went out and played in the mud for a while.  It was fun.  I went and got a tea pot so we are going to try the tea tonight, thanks Mom.  Casey is going down to SLC tomorrow to work and will come back Sunday.  I hope that everyone has a good weekend and stay safe.

Well not to brag but I am on level 62 on candy saga. My day was good. It was the month end luncheon today. My potatoes turned out good. I know the recipe sounds weird but it actually tastes really good. I didn't win any of the drawings, but it was still a good time. I ate a ton of food. It was snowing when I left work. It wasn't sticking so that was nice. I hope that everyone had a great Friday. BYE

Mini Vacations

I really loved our mini vacation also.  It was just so nice.  I can hardly wait until Karen gets another nephew day.  Today was long.  I didn't sleep very well last night and it was a long day.  I got my taxes done also and tomorrow dad is going to met with the tax dude and drop them off.  Yeah for another year done.  I hate doing taxes.  Every year I swear I am going to be more organized and I am not.  It never rained here but it was really cloudy.  Good luck with your party tomorrow Karen.  I am glad the potatoes turned out.  Dad said he isn't going to China now until the 16th.  Of course I already had changed his doctor appointment but Oh well it will give me more time to get everything done. It was fun to see everyone. I wish we could do it more. to day was ok. I am really tired. but I just worked and then gave mom and dad my taxes. I have been resting and going to bed early maybe that will help not being so tired. have a great friday robin

Thank you everyone for such a nice time.  It was so nice to hang out and have a mini vacation.  Thank you.  Isaac was glad to be back home and played really well today.  He didn't take too long of a nap which always frustrates me when nothing is going on he took a short one and yesterday he took a long one.  Oh well.  He did sleep really well last night which was nice.  It was kind of snowy/rainy today but it cleared up this afternoon.  We walked around for a bit.  I hope that everyone has a good night and is successful at playing candy crush saga.  I passed a few levels today.  Thanks for the lives.  I finished my St Patricks day mystery quilt, after I quilt it I add a bunch of flowers so I think it will look better when it is done done.  I also attached a picture of a block from the new quilt I am making.  I love it and it is fun to do.

IT was nice to have a sunny day. I am excited for summer. Today was good. They are having one of the graphic designers help me grommet for a while (he's burned some bridges with the project manager, so he's making him do "other" jobs) but basically he will come over for 30 minutes do the easy work and leave. so I am stuck with the hard jobs at the very end of the day. ugh so frustrating, but I made it out alive. THen class was good, so much to learn. my little brain implodes on monday's. i am exicted for tomorrow it will be fun. I think I can eat anywhere. I am on a new food journey. I have no idea what I can or can not eat. anyway have a great one see you all tomorrow Robin

Sunshine

It was so pretty outside.  It was still cold but the sunshine was nice.  I had a good day at work and I also had a nice evening. I got ready for our nephew day so we are ready with treats and activities.  I am excited for tomorrow.  Robin is there something that you can eat better than anything else.  I think that is where we should go for dinner tomorrow night.  Drive safe coming down everyone. Robin I love the photo of your white dress that someone posted on facebook.  That was neat.

Pretty Day

Today was so pretty outside.  I love seeing the sun, it felt so good.  We went on a walk around the block and it was really nice.  We had a good day.  Nothing really exciting going on.  I am excited to come down tomorrow.  I will leave here around 3:30 and be down there about 5.  I am excited to see everyone, have a good night.

Well my day was good. Work is moving along. You know just same old same old. i am planning on coming down to SLC tomorrow after work. i am excited for my nephew day on Wednesday. It was pretty here today. You can almost see all the grass in my front yard. Still have a little ways to go, but it is getting closer. Well I hope that everyone had a good Monday. BYE

I'm glad everyone had fun in logan. I have been resting its been nice. I did my homework today that took up much of the afternoon. then I thought I would watch some netflix I didn't pick very good show but I guess It killed two hours. anyway not much else have a great one robin

Does this look like a good recipe for our St. Patty's day luncheon?

• 2 lbs potatoes, mashed. (I like to use 2 bags of Ore-Ida easy mash in Garlic)
• 1 lb cubed cooked ham
• 1/2 of a head of cabbage
• 1 medium onion
• 2 leeks (white part only)
• 1 cup half-and-half
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup fresh parsley
• salt and pepper

Directions:

1. 1
   Prepare and mash potatoes with half and half and some butter. In a large sautee pan, add 2 tbs. butter and a little oil. Add Ham first, browning slightly, then add leeks and onions and sweat them until they are translucent. Cut cabbage into large bite size pieces (I like approximately 1"x2" strips) and add to sautee pan along with a couple of tablespoons of water. Cover and cook until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally. Fold contents of sautee pan into mashed potatoes and stir to incorporate. I like to take this in a crock pot on warm setting. Before transporting, add a few tablespoons half and half and butter to surface of Colcannon, to be stirred in just before served. This helps combat 'crock pot dry out'. Colcannon is traditionally served in bowls, topped with fresh parsley and a tablespoon of butter sunken into the center.

Boring

Today was pretty boring.  We did eat good food all day, that was the highlight.  We had warms ups for lunch and the pot pie for dinner.  It all tasted really good, thank Mom.  Isaac had a rough night and woke up early this morning.  He wanted to dig in the rice right after breakfast and made a mess.  I attached a picture.  I put a show on for him and fell asleep.  I felt bad, I don't think that I have done that before.  I did feel better when the show was over.  It was rainy here and a lot of the snow has melted which is really nice.  I am so excited for spring.  I was showing Casey the fabric that matches Isaac's blanket and Isaac took it to bed with him.  I haven't sewed it yet but I will tomorrow.  I attached a picture also.  Everyone have a good Monday and I will be down on Tuesday.  I am so excited.  It will be a nice week.

Well things are good here. It did rain most the of the day. That is must better than snow though. I think that I slept most of today. It was nice. I did make Casey's shredded roast beef sandwiches.
