Cookies

Well I figured that since I was making cookies for my primary class I might as well make some for work as well. So I am making a triple batch. All I have to say is that baking is not a summer activity. Oh well I am getting close to being done. I had to run to the store and get brown sugar cause mine was hard and I needed eggs also because I had hard boiled the few I had. Other that it hasn't been bad making cookies. Mom I did knead my clay dough until cool cause that was what it said in the instructions. My day has been good. I have just been running errands and making cookies. I figured i would get everything I needed to done so I can play next weekend. Robin anything sounds fun, just let me know if I need to pack my swimsuit. My doctors appointment is at 9 so I will probably be done by about 10. So i am good for what ever after that.

I'm not sure what everyone wants to do when you come up karen. I thought bear lake would be fun but if its stressful we don't have to. we can go shopping or swimming here. or do something fun. i"m up for everything, well today was good I was uber lazy i decided no not accompish anything and I did a pretty good job. Tomorrow I work at lagoon in the morning and then josh is now in utah so we are going to meet up for dinner. well I hope everyone has a great weekend

Never Again

I am never again going to use Velcro that has a sticky back to it. It is horrible. I had been using it for my quiet book and I ran out so I bought some without and it is wonderful, it goes so much faster when you don't have to keep cleaning the gunk off of your needle. We had a good day. I mowed the lawn this morning, we went for a walk this evening and that was nice. I went out for dinner to Costa Vida and that was fun. I am excited for this weekend it will be fun. Karen what do you want for your Birthday? It is coming up, think about it.

The color of green

Karen I am glad the clay dough turned out good. It is one of my favorite recipes. I am buff is all I can say. I have made a ton of that in my life. I am glad it turned out. Did you knead it? That is critical for it to stay good. I am going to Logan tomorrow. DAd is coming with me. We will be up there early. I made chicken enchilidas tonight for dinner and they tasted so good. I haven't made them for forever. I have some for leftovers for lunch next week. I had a nice day today. I got a lot of sleep last night and it really helps me. Well have a great weekend.

Arm of steel

Well i made my clay dough tonight. It turned out good. All I have to say is mom must of had arms of steel when we were younger. It made my arm tired stirring that. I finally decided to make it green. It was a tough choice. Thanks for posting the recipe Rachel. The dashes are to cook it over medium heat in case any one else wanted to know. i had a good day. Work seemed to drag but it always seems to on Friday. It was hot and humid here today. i keep hoping it will cool down again. Well I hope everyone had a great Friday. BYE

Clay dough

Today was good. We went to the library and ran some errands. Isaac slept really good last night, for 9 hours straight so that was really nice. Karen Mom said that you needed the clay dough recipe so here it is. It was torn in half and I couldn't make some of it out so I just put dashes on what I couldn't make out. Good luck. I keep forgetting to tell everyone that we cleaned out all of Mom's spices this weekend and there was like 5 bottles of Cream of Tarter, reading this recipe reminded me of that and made me laugh.

Clay dough

1 c Flour
1/2 c Salt
2 t. Cream of Tarter

Mix
1 c Water
1 T oil
2 t Food Coloring

Combine dry ingredients in saucepan. Add liquids cook ov-------ed. Heat until ball forms. Kneads until smooth and cool.

Thursday

Well my day was good. It was super hot outside today. The high was 110. I feel accomplished today because after work I cleaned my bathroom. Wow, I know. I am sorry that mom and Robin had bank issues. I am glad that it is fixed though. Just think one week from today I get to come up and play. Robin, mom says you don't work that day. We should play. What would you like to do? Today was good I worked and then went out with mom to run errands and lunch I was super beat by the end though. I am a wimp. mom still had energy to cook dinner. I'm glad everyone is doing well. I work tomorrow and then will probabny head out to my friends house for a jewelry party, everything is 5 dollars so we will see what i can find for fun, :) any way have a great night

That is good to know about the bacon. After you said how good they were I bought some bacon and tomatoes and that is what we had for dinner. It was really good. I am going to go to Sam's and get some. Thanks Rachel for getting that med. Dad has some so it isn't a rush I just wanted to get it done while I had the day off. I got a lot done today. It felt really nice. I didn't get my hair cut but I got almost everything else done. It really feels better knowing that is done. Karen I think you had a long day because we couldn't email. I am sure tomorrow will go faster. My smart remarks will be back. It was hot today. I think that tomorrow is suppose to be the hottest and then it will start cooling down. Hello

We had a good day. My visiting teacher came over and it was fun to visit with them. Then we went to the hospital and picked up a prescription for Dad. I will send it down with Casey tomorrow. We went to Sam's club and got some bacon and formula. I got 9 slices of precooked bacon at lees for 4 dollars and 72 at sams club. It is a good deal. I have been eating a lot of bacon and tomato sandwiches. Well Casey made it home, he is giving Isaac a bath. I hope that everyone has a good night.

Keep it together man

Robin, I am sure that you will get in control eventually. Today seemed kind of long. Work was a little slow so that is probably why the day seemed long. The wind has been blowing and my allergies are giving me a headache. I really like ibuprofen. Mom I hope that you got your list all done or at least made a dent in it. out of control

well its been crazy with me not working I need to work so I don't spend money. I decided to get rosetta stone for french I know that I have tried before so I am uber nervous. I hope I learn this time. :) then I had a doctors appt I thought I would get a physical since I am getting older and my insurance may not last to long. But they said I healthy just waiting for the reports. They gave me a tenious shot so I won't get whooping cough when I'm 40. but my arm hurts. And more gossip I guess josh decided to move back to utah. sooo who knows whats going on. just thought I would try to keep the gossip tree flowing But I don't know to much. Anywho I was wondering is everyone wanting to go to bear lake when karen comes up. I think it would be fun anyway have a great night

Tomorrow is off

Well I am taking tomorrow off. I am going to do a lot of stuff. THey aren't delivering my mail because some broke one of the mail boxes. So I am going to get up and do laundry and then go to the post office and then the bank and then get my hair cut. Should be a fun day. Thanks Rachel for sharing the pictures they are so cute. I love them. Karen I am glad you got your blood test. We went to best buy and dad got his server like you and Casey have. He is all excited. Not much else to report.

Sling

We had a good day. It went fast. My sling came yesterday so me and Isaac walked the river walk with it. It was fun and it works good. It takes some getting use to but I think that we are getting the hang of it. Isaac had fun, he could see the cars most of the time so he enjoyed that and he liked the river. He keep waving his arms around in excitement. It was hot though, I thought that their would be more shade than there was. Overall it was fun. I was looking through my pictures and I had some I hadn't shared so here they are. One is Mom at Josh Groban, Dad and Isaac with a balloon and Isaac smiling. Casey got stuck at work so he is not coming home tonight but will tomorrow.

Tuesday

Well my day has been pretty good. Work stayed pretty steady. After work I went and got my blood test done. So i am all set for my doctors appointment next week. My cold is getting better, but I have a headache today. I am sorry that Isaac's teeth hurt. I hope they come in quick so that it feels better. Mom I hope that you have a good day off tomorrow and that you get all the stuff done you wanted to. Well I hope that you have a great day. BYE

well today was good I just worked at zions.... Lagoon is done full time for the summer. School started today so everyone had to go be good in life. So My manager at zions said they couldn't fix my schedule for frightmares so we will see how that turns out. I'm not forcasting a good end for zions. anywho not to much else going on have a great day

Cute Cute

Rachel I think your block is darling. I love it. I am sorry Isaac is having a hard time with his teeth. THey looked really sore on Saturday. He will have a couple new teeth here really soon. Karen I am glad you had a good sunday. I think that is cute they roped you into cookies. I had a nice day. I asked for Wednesday off and I am going to the bank and take care of Grandma's account even if the money from the nursing home doesn't come. I am tired of waiting. It am going to also work out the home insurance I have been wanting to switch over and then I am going to sleep. I know I lead an exciting life. I road the bus today and it took 20 extra minutes to get to work today because it was the first day of school. We took dad and Casey out to Red Robin for Dinner. It tasted good. RAchel I am with you there is nothing better than home grown tomoatoes. They taste so much better than store bought. Have a great tuesday. LOVE MOM

Opps

Well I am sorry that I didn't blog yesterday. I went to church and I told my kids during class that they were bein good and revernet and so they decided that means I owe them cookies. I obviously missed the jump in that logic but I will bring cookies anyway. Then my visiting teachers and home teachers came over. One of my home teachers invited me to dinner with him and his wife. It was fun. Today was good. Work stayed busy so that was nice. It was hot out today. Well have a good one bye

Bacon and Tomato

I made a bacon and tomato sandwich with a tomato from the garden and it was so good, it tasted amazing. I finished my block of the month, it isn't very good. I will do a better job on my next one. I have attached a picture. Isaac's top teeth are coming in and they were sore today. Yesterday he woke up at 6:30 am and only took two half hour naps so today he took two really long naps, it was really nice. Well I hope that everyone had a good day.

Quiet Day

We had a nice day also. We slept in late and then went to sacrament meeting also and then took a nap. It was nice to have a quiet day. We went to Kay's house for dessert and that was fun. I took the quilt that Rachel made me and showed them. They really liked it. Not much else to report. Hope your have a really good week. LOVE MOM

Wow

Congratulations Robin, that is awesome. Good job, that is fun to get some recognition for working so hard. Good job Karen on going to an activity, that is fun. I am excited for you. We had a good day, it was nice to have Casey home. We went to church in the morning. We only made it through sacrament, but Isaac did really good. Casey pruned the pear tree and cleaned the shower down stairs. He also made a really good dinner, he was busy. I finished the top of my block of the month and I just need to quilt it now. I will put a picture on when I am done.
