Saturday

 We had a nice day. We got up and tried electric bikes. They were so much fun. Dad said his knees didnt even hurt. I was excited about that. We went down 8th south and the have this bike trail right next to the side walk. It was so nice. There are a ton of resturants along the way. We will have to be adventurous and try one. We rode around liberty park and then decided to try up hill. It started to get really windy and rainy so we decided to be done. We went back to trolley square and it stopped storming so we drove up 5th south. There is this park that is suppose to be cool and it isnt very far from trolly square. We got there and they were having an Easter egg hunt. Go figure. It was raining again so we headed back. We went to spagetti factory for lunch and it just poured rain. You could here it. I was so excited I didnt  get dizzy on the bike. We came home and crashed for awhile. Tonight was one of the plays at parker theater. It was father of the bride. I always enjoy them. I think they do a good job. It was definitely a 50s take. The costumes were really good. Have a nice Sunday. Rachel you had a busy day. Robin I hope swim lessons went well. Saturday

 I had a fun day. We got up this morning and rode the bikes. It was a lot of fun. We rode about an hour and a half and then it started raining so we returned them. We went to Spaghetti factory for lunch. Then we came home and took a nap. After dinner we went to parker theater and saw father of the bride. I hope everyone had a great day. Bye

Saturday

 Today was good.  I went to exercise class this morning and then I finished quilting my quilt.  I need to put the binding on now.  We were going to do yard work but the weather was erratic.  The little kids went over to play with the neighbors and Isaac drove me and Casey around.  We went and got parts to fix the tiller and then we went to the jewelry store to see if they could fix Oliver's pocket watch but it was more to fix it than to buy a new one.  When we got back we moved some bushes into the front and it looks really nice.  Then it started to hail so we came in.  All the neighbor kids came over and they played until dinner.  Isaac went out with his friends also.  We did the shrinky dinks while Casey cooked dinner and that was fun.

 I made it through Friday. It was kind of a slow day. I am excited to try the electric bikes tomorrow hopefully the weather is okay. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Bye

 School went pretty good day.  The classes all went pretty good and it is a full day.  We had a assembly and the second grade sang.  The did a good job.  The kids all had play days.  Ewan came over for Oliver, Bradley came over with Isaac and Ruth went to Emma's house.  This evening we went to the play Peter and the Starcatchers.  It was silly and the kids liked it.

​work was really slow today. Everyone is out on spring break. I was going to “work” from home but I decided to just take 4 hours of pTO since we have unlimited time. So I picked Luna up and we went to lunch and then the curiosity farms. It was real busy there because it was spring break but it was nice to get out. Then we came home and had dinner and played outside

 I had a good day. I spent most of the day outside and that is always nice. I mowed and edged and weed whacked. I have to say it was like mowing hay. It was so long. I am missing my flower garden. I think i am slowly going to plant flowers. I know it is early but the weather is so nice. We are going to try electric bikes tomorrow. I hope i can do the. It is also play night. It is father m of the bride. I like the movie. I hope I like the play. Robin have fun with Lunas swim lesson. I hope it goes good. Rachel I am glad your van is fixed. Casey is a miracle worker.  Well I got invited to the meetings for the team I am transferring to. They were going around giving updates and I thought guy running it said Karen so I gave my update, but he really said Kiran. So that was embarrassing. Oh well what can you do. Other than that it was just the usual. I hope everyone has a great Friday tomorrow. Bye

 Work was harder today.  The kids were just not listening very well.  I gave one class a 3 out 5 and it made a little boy cry, I felt bad.  Oliver and Ruth preformed at an assisted and Oliver had a solo.  I wasn't able to go but my friend said he did really well.  The neighbor kids came over to play after school.  Ruth had viola lessons.  Me and Ruth did resin on the deck which was fun.  Casey fixed the van which is amazing.  I had book group and we went to Lucky slice.  It was fun to talk with everyone.  It was a fun evening.

 I picked jeff up and we went and saw kay. She is about the same. I came home and did laundry. The dryer is so noisy. Karen called to have someone come look at it. It is under warranty. Thank heavens. I picked up dad and we just hung out. I am going to do yard work tomorrow. I am with robin it is so beautiful. Have a great Friday. Love mom

​I’m so happy tomorrow is Friday. Work was good nothing out of the ordinary. After work we had dinner and then cleaned a bit. It’s so pretty outside I’m loving it

​I like your quilt rachel. Today was good I woke up tired again. Work was good but slow. I signed up for another research study so at 2:30 I went over and did that. It’s just a two day thing so Monday I do it again. It ended early so I didn’t go back to work. So I just picked up Luna and we went home early. Jeramy took us to get orange chicken. It was tasty and Luna ate a lot

Wednesday

 I have today off and it was nice.  I went to quilt group and it was really nice to visit.  I brought my sampler quilt and it turned out really pretty.  I went and got a back for it after quilt group and started quilting it this afternoon with a pretty flower pattern.  Ruth and Oliver had orchestra because they are playing for an assembly tomorrow.  Ruth auditioned for the talent show and did really well.  Isaac had violin lessons.  Oliver went to his friends house and played with a couple boys from school.  Casey took Ruth and Isaac up the canyon to see if the cave they are diving out flooded so they can move the big logs.  Oliver was still at his friends house so he didn't go.  So we just hung out together.

Wednesday

 I took dad to that dentist. Poor dad he had a loose crown on his implant. We were there 3 hours and they never did get it back on.  They sent the crown to a lab to see if they could fix it. It ended up costed 3 times more t han they said it would because they added stuff.  What a mess. I went to lowes and got all the info to call and get the dryer fixed. It is so noisy. It was a busy day. I am going to take jeff to see kay tomorrow. Love mom

 My day was good. I am working on finishing up my projects. They are going to start having me work half my time in the new area so I can get trained while finishing up my current stuff so that should be fun. Other than that nothing too exciting for me. I hope everyone had a great day. Bye

Tuesday

 I had a big busy day. I took dad to work and then went to visit kay. She is slipping a bit. We were all tired. I ran errands afterwards. I had to get drugs and an antibiotic for dad. I said it wasn't right but there was a different pharmacist and she said it was fine. I looked it up. It isnt right. Dad has a dentist appt for tomorrow so we will just fix his dentures and loose implant and pull that tooth another time. I made zuppa soup tonight for dinner and it tasted so good. I think project management is a good idea Rachel. You are so organized. Have a great hump day. Love mom

Tuesday

Today was good.  I had to go to work early to get trained in proctoring tests.  I just had prep time and one class for typing.  Oliver had orchestra after school.  The van started miss firing but Casey knows how to fix it and can do it this weekend.  The kids were playing with the neighbors and I worked on my program.  I am getting closer on the faces with the help of AI.  Casey taught a group on how to climb ropes on campus.  The boys had young men's.  I have been thinking about project management since Robin brought it up and I like the idea of getting that certification.  Thanks for giving me some direction Robin.

​I woke up tired. It was hard to get moving. Work was good it’s slowing down a lot now the new girl is catching on. After work we did some yard work and watched a movie

Cheese and dairy days

 On the radio when I was. Coming home it said they are having the. Cheese and dairy show in the spring this year on April 18th. They are going to have baby animals also. I will research it more and give updates 

Monday

 I took dad to work today and drove to logan. I went to pepperidge farm to get crackers while everyone one was at school. I love that place. I got some for Lunas school for their snack box. I got Isaac his crackers and some for Julie. I went to Walmart to get Ruth a couple more jeans. I sure like her better in them. I picked up Isaac from school. He had to be at the concert at 4. It didnt start until 7. I thought that was a long time right over dinner. I took him to a Thai resturant right after school so he wouldn't starve. We all went to zuppas after rachels meeting. It tasted so good. I left to come home after the concert. It is spring in utah. There is road construction everywhere. I love the pictures of luna. She looks so happy. I am going to go see kay tomorrow. It has been over a week since I saw her. Love you all mom

Monday

 It was really nice to have Mom here today to help get everyone where they needed to be.  It was fun to hang out with her too.  We made it back to school and it went fine.  Most of my classes were good.  I had a meeting after school on zoom about the changes they are making next year.  It is always stressful to have big changes.  Mom took Isaac to CYO and then after my meeting we went out to dinner.  Oliver had cello lessons and we shopped at the hobby lobby.  We headed to the concert and it was good.  It wasn't so long which was nice.  Isaac did a great job.  I didn't take any pictures so that isn't great

​today was alright nothing much going on our end. Jeramy was fixing a sprinkler head and I wanted to make sure the sprinkler systems worked. So we ran it through a few cycles. Luna loved it and I turned in the outside one for her to ride her bike through.

 Thanks everyone for the fun weekend. I made it to work this morning. It was a quiet day. They did say that I am going to start shadowing a person in the new area for 50% of my time starting this week sometime. That should be fun. After work I picked up dad and we came home and had dinner. I paid my summer tuition tonight so that wasn't too much fun. I did get my state tax return so that was nice. Thank you

 I had a wonderful weekend. Robin thanks for the delicious food and all the fun. Those race cars are so much fun. When we were driving home from robins last night they were talking about launching rockets at the great salt lake. I had some left from the last time we did it. One of the rockets was broke but there was one that was in ok shape. Everyone worked to get everything ready and we went out to the lake and fired the rocket. The parachute never came out but it was fun to watch it slam down. We only had a few of the rocket fuel so we walked down to the beach afterwards. There were a lot of dead ducks. I cant thank you all enough for the nice time. I feel very blessed. Love mom

Easter

​thanks again for coming down and having a fun Easter party. Luna loved her Easter stuff and played with the dolls Ruth gave her all day. We rode bikes and made cookies
