Back to the real world

 I am with Rachel it was hard to go back but it wasn't bad. It felt nice to get back. I am sorry that Rachel and Karen still have the cough. It lasts forever. I came home and made split pea soup. We can eat that tomorrow. I have been craving it. I was going to go to the store but I had all the stuff. Dad's neck was sore today and it made him depressed. I hope he feels better soon. It is hard for him. Robin I hope you had a good day.  It was so pretty outside. No smoke. With the hard freeze that will help with allergies. Love you guys mom

The tape is off!!!

 It is always hard going back to the real world after a fun trip but today was good.  I didn't sleep well because I was coughing so I didn't walk Tony.  I did go to exercise class and that felt good.  We walked Ruth to school and then I took Tony the long way home and threw the ball for him so he got a walk today.  I studied while Ruth was at school.  I feel fired up after the vacation and am going to be more consistent studying.  Isaac had orchestra after school.  He didn't sleep well so he was tied afterwards.  Everyone came out the front door but Isaac went out the side and I couldn't find him to pick him up but I eventually figured it out.  Tonight Oliver was doing homework and he had a loose piece of tape on his ear.  I got my sewing scissors to cut it off.  I kept trimming it and I got the whole thing off.  Oliver was so happy.  It is so nice to have it off.  I think soaking it really helped.  Thanks Mom.  Love you guys and have a goodnight.

 Well I made it back to work today. I only hacked up a lung a couple of times so it went pretty well. It was chilly here today we actually had a hard freeze last night. I really don't have to much to report. I hope everyone had a great day. Bye

I'm glad you guys had a fun trip Rachel. I'm glad you are feeling better Karen. Today was good. We went on a walk and went to one man band. Luna is getting more alert which means she wants to be entertained all the time. She wants to sit up. I found she likes to sit in the gazebo and look at the fire on our fire pit. Bit the winds picked up so we could only look at the fire for a little bit.

We are back

 We are back home also. I always miss the noise and kids when I come home. I worked for awhile when we got back. The kids just played at home today and they were so good. I am back to a full week this week that will seem odd. I haven't done that for awhile. Karen I am glad you are sounding better. The cough takes awhile. Robin. I am glad Luna is doing well. She is so dang cute.

We are back

 I am sorry you got sick Karen.  I am glad you are feeling better.  Thank you again Mom and Dad for everything.  We are spoiled.  Luna is so cute Robin and she is growing up.  We had a really wonderful time.  The mountains were so beautiful.  No one else was there so it was so peaceful and amazing.  The first day we left Logan and drove to boulder.  We got a hamburger for lunch and then started hiking.  It was pretty steep and we took it easy.  We camped by a beautiful lake.  It got pretty cold and Casey sleeping bag didn't keep him warm enough poor guy.  We brought a blanket for Tony and he seems ok.  The next day we hiked.  There were a lot of trees fallen on the trail so it took a bit to walk around them.  Their were a lot of chipmunks and Tony loved chasing them.  He never caught one and would know what to do.  I think we saw five mountain lakes which were pretty.  It was another cold night for Casey.  So we decided to hike down and camp at a lower elevation.  We hiked 13.5 miles which is the most I have ever walked in one day.  It rained lightly most of the day but it was nice.  When we got down we got a pizza and camped by a lake.  Today we drove back.  We stopped at bear lake and walked around for a while.  It was so pretty and it was so nice to walk around.  We got some pancake rolls for breakfast and then headed to Logan.  Thanks again Mom and Dad for watching the kids.
