today was good just working its the last week though :) yeah!! I have been eating more bannanas because my neck hurt I think its helping alot. well I am off to bed just wanted to say hi. stay warm robim

Mr Utah

Karen, that is a cute story.  That made me laugh.  Mom and Dad made it down safely and they are doing good.  Isaac was grumpy today but we made it through, I think that he was just tired.  I cut his hair today and I think that he looks cute.  I kept calling him Mr Utah all day and it made me laugh.  Karen hold on to your seat because I finished quilting your quilt.  I am hand sewing the binding right now and am half way done.  Sorry it took so long but I think that you will like it.  Other than that I don't have anything exciting.  It will be fun to hang out with Mom and Dad tomorrow.

Magic Monday

Well we had engineering meeting this morning. And as I was sitting there I was thinking hmmm a doughnut sounds really good right now. But alas to bad I am at work and there are no doughnuts. Then a few minutes later 2 boxes of doughnuts were brought into the meeting. It was a magic Monday moment. Well it was cold here today and snowy. Instead of seeing a deer standing by the side of the road I saw a bald eagle instead. It was a really pretty eagle. Then I went to Smiths and went grocery shopping. It is nice to have food again and gas in my car. I hope that mom and dad had a good trip to Logan. have a great Tuesday tomorrow everyone. BYE

5 batches later

I sure had a nice weekend.  Thanks Karen for letting us come up and see the house and Rachel and Casey and Isaac for spending the night and Robin for coming over on Sunday.  What a nice weekend and I got 5 batches of clothes done.  I love my washer and dryer.  That was so much fun to play all weekend and still get all my laundry done.  Have a great week.  WE are going to Logan tomorrow night because we both have doctor's appointments on Tuesday morning.  I am having my yearly checkup and dad is just having a check up.  LOVE MOM

Mom that is exciting that you got a washer and dryer. You are going to love it. My day was good. The work party was fun. I didn't win any of the money drawings but I did win some chocolate cover almonds. They had the best soup there. I got the recipe. It is a crock pot recipe so that makes it even better. Here is the recipe in case anyone wants to try it.

  Crock Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup

1 can black beans, drained
1 can corn, drained
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1 packet enchilada sauce mix (or if you can't find this mild taco seasoning works well too)
1 1/2 cups water
1 can tomato sauce
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
2 cups milk
3-4 boneless chicken breasts

In crock pot mix the enchilada packet together with the water and tomato sauce. Add cream of chicken soup and milk and whisk together until smooth. Add chicken. Pour drained black beans, drained corn, and diced tomatoes on top of that. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours. Before serving take out chicken and shred or dice, then put back in crock pot and stir it all together. Serve with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese. lime, avocado, or tortilla chips. (They didn't put any of this extra stuff on at the party on it was still really yummy.)

Laundry

WE did it we bought a washer and dryer at RC Willey's.  We even got 6months interest free.  It is being delivered tomorrow sometime.  I will call in the morning and find out a close time. I am so excited.  Karen do you want to come down or do you want to wait and see if we can come up.  Rachel, I am excited that you are coming down.  Maybe we could ride trax again with Grandpa.  Just a suggestion.  What a fun weekend.  I am excited.  I love the birthday theme Rachel.  I was going to ask you if I could buy a birthday cake for Isaac from Lee's.  Think about it and we could order it on Tuesday when I am up there.  I will see you all tomorrow.  LOVE MOM

Mush

Last time we visited Casey's Grandma in Idaho she was telling us that she used to make fried mush and eggs and Casey really likes it.  So I made it for dinner tonight and it was really cute.  It was fun to eat something different.  I ordered a birthday theme party for Isaac again.  This time it is a train.  It should be fun, I am excited.  We are going to come down with Casey tomorrow to SLC.  I hope that it isn't too much.  Well everyone have a good night.  I have a relief society breakfast in the morning and then we are heading down.
